All categories are open for persons aged 12 years and up (born in 2009 or earlier)
It’s mostly a skill level tournament but we do play in some age groups as well. Depending on the amount and ages of participants, we’ll decide what the cut off point for age brackets will be.
We expect to play in the next brackets (open to change):
Women’s singles: 2.5, 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0-5.0.
Men’s Singles: 2.5-3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0.
Women’s Doubles: 2.5-3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5-5.0
Men’s Doubles: 2.5-3.0, 3.5 , 3.5 , 4.0 , 4.5, 5.0
Mixed Doubles: 2.5, 3.0 or 2.5-3.0 , 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0
Remember: you can play down in age and up in skill level. In Doubles the age of the youngest player decides in which category you can play.
Our competition format will be round robin group stages followed by (depending on the group size) Semi- and/or Finals. Every participant will play at least 4 games in Doubles and at least 3 games in Singles.
Most games in the round robin stages will be one game till 11 with two points difference and change side at 6. The medal matches are one game till 15. More specific information will follow when we know the size of the groups.
