For the first time in history pickleball will be part of the Eurogames in Nijmegen. The Eurogames is an inclusive sporting event with about 15 different sports and about 2.000 participants of all levels. The games will take place from July 27 – 30 in Nijmegen. Besides the sports tournaments, EuroGames Nijmegen will include side events and a public program #Lovetomove. Rainbow City Nijmegen is a city full of culture, nature and sports.
Pickleball will be played on Thursday July 28 and Friday July 29 2022. Doubles (all combinations possible) in the mornings and Teamcompetition in the afternoons. We will compose teams of equal strength so every team will have players of different levels. You will play against players of your own level of another team. You can give us the name of a person you would like to have in your team. You can find more information here.
Where to stay in Nijmegen during the Eurogames
Because Nijmegen is not nearby, many Pickleballers will want to spend the night in Nijmegen.
The organizing team thought it would be nice to spend the week together with all Pickleball players.
We have found a beautiful group accommodation with camping about 6 km from the locations where we play, and that is:
Recreation farm Bij de 3 Linden in Wijchen.
The group accommodation is a holiday farm with space up to 30 people.
Another 25 camping places (tent, caravan, trailer tent or camper) are available on the camping field.
In short: this will be a big Pickleball holiday resort.

You can choose a 2-person room with its own sanitary facilities (9x) or a 4-person room (2x).
2-person room €325,= for 1 week (or shorter) per room
4-person room 300,= for 1 week (or shorter) per room
Booking less than 1 week is not possible.
So find a roommate, form a group of four or rent a room for yourself.

Rent a bike
Through the campsite you can rent a bike or electric bike € 25 per day for € 10 per day.
If you book a room through us, you can indicate that you want to rent a bike via the contact form of the accommodation.
Under “Your message” indicate that you belong to the Pickeball group and for how many days you want to rent:
